Club Comments

Dubbo Juniors are entering a under 17 Youth Girls’ side for the first time this season.  Dubbo Juniors AFL President Merinda Roll is thrilled that it allows girls the opportunity to play in the competition.” The kids are thrilled that we haven’t lost them, because if we didn’t have a Youth Girl’s side, we would have lost 6 or 7 players,” Roll said.

Roll also expressed that there was a lot of happiness and confidence within the players, adding that the morale was great within the club. “I just hope we see this transition into the teams,” Roll added.

The Dubbo Juniors committee are ecstatic that within three years, the club has been able to establish four teams . Roll commented saying that “this gives the players the ability to transition from team to team leading into the seniors, and that’s what we are here to do. So the club couldn’t be in any better position.”
