Men’s Tier 1

Orange Tigers vs Bathurst Giants

Time: 2:15pm

Ground: Mulyan Oval, Cowra

The Bathurst Giants will be hoping to cement first position when they travel to Cowra to take on the Orange Tigers. The current Tier 1 leaders have been exceptional this season, and will be looking to prepare themselves for finals footy in a few weeks time. The Tigers will be looking to bounce back after a heavy loss to the Bushrangers last weekend, and a defeat this weekend will just about rule them out for finals this year. The last time these two sides played was in Round 10, with the Giants taking a 43-point win over the Tigers. Look for the Tigers to come out strong knowing their season is on the line.

Selected Teams

Bathurst Bushrangers vs Dubbo Demons

Time: 2:45 pm

Ground: North Parkes Oval, Parkes

The Bathurst Bushrangers and Dubbo Demons will be traveling to Parkes this weekend for their Round 13 contest. The Bushrangers are currently eight points off of the leading Bathurst Giants, so they will need to win every game from here on now and hope the Giants make a mistake against Orange or Dubbo. The Demons currently sit in third spot, so a win for them this weekend would cement a spot in the finals over Orange. The last time these two sides played was in Round 10, with the Demons winning the game by 10-points. Expect an entertaining encounter between the two sides.
