Bushrangers and Giants set for top of the table battle

Mens tier 1
The two Bathurst clubs remained undefeated in Round 2 as the Giants had a 37-point win over Dubbo whilst the Bushrangers had a big 49-point victory against Orange Tigers.
In Round 3 both the Bushrangers and Giants will clash at George Park with the winner moving four points clear ahead of the competition. Dubbo Demons and Orange Tigers will look to grab their first victory in Round 3 also when they play each other at Waratah Sports Ground, Both matches will be played Saturday 13th May, 2:15pm.

Mens Tier 2
In Round 2 of Tier 2 action, Cowra Blues remained undefeated defeating the Bushrangers by 39-points, whilst Parkes Panthers and Dubbo Demons won their first games of the season. Cowra Blues sit on eight competition points whilst there are four teams sitting on one win, making the upcoming Round 3 matches crucial.
In Round 3 Cowra Blues will take on Parkes Panthers, Bushrangers and Giants will fight out their rivalry and Orange Tigers will look to grab their first win of the season when they take on Dubbo Demons.

Senior Womens
Dubbo Demons went four points clear over the competition as they had a tight victory over Bathurst Giants by three points. The Giants led by six points heading into the final quarter although, Dubbo Demons took control of the game by not conceding a point in the final quarter on route to a come from behind victory to set their season up.
The Bathurst Bushrangers opened their account for the season winning their first game by 24 points over the Cowra Blues. A strong first half from the Bushrangers never saw them in any danger of losing as they were comfortable winners.
In round three the two Bathurst teams will face off looking for early season bragging rights and the two undefeated teams in Dubbo Demons and Orange Tigers will face off looking to head on top of the ladder. The Tigers are coming off a bye and will be expected to be fired up ahead of an important early season fixture.
